Common questions

Our women’s football trials give female players aged 11–21 the chance to be assessed in real professional environments in England, including established WSL and Championship environments. There are two routes: the Women’s Football Trial and individual trials with a professional club. International players are very welcome, and you can see the next dates on our upcoming football trials page.

The Women’s Football Trial is a fully immersive trial that mirrors a professional environment, tailored to the women’s game. It runs in the Midlands and the North West of England, where players play competitive matches against professional clubs and take part in a testing day tailored to women’s standards. Every player leaves with a detailed individual player report with coaching notes, and full training kit is provided.

Yes, individual female football trials in the UK are available, and each one is set up one by one. After she registers, we look at the player’s profile and videos, the teams she has played for, her eligibility, and passport and visa requirements, and check that she meets the criteria. If she does, David has a phone call with her and her parents to make sure it is the right professional club for her. We can’t arrange a trial just because it is asked for, and timing depends on the club calendar.

Yes, our girls football trials start from age 11, and younger players are reviewed in exactly the same way as older ones. Girls aged 11–21 can join the Women’s Football Trial or be considered for an individual trial, depending on the review. A parent or guardian completes the registration and joins the call with David before anything is confirmed.

Players on the Women’s Football Trial stay in residential accommodation at independent schools in the Midlands and the North West of England. Meals are nutritionally balanced and full training kit is provided. If your player is coming from overseas, we talk through travel and arrival with you on the call with David.

Welfare is female-led throughout, with 24/7 supervision for players on the Women’s Football Trial. Parents are involved from the start: for under-18s, a parent or guardian completes the registration, joins the call with David and agrees travel, accommodation and supervision before anything is confirmed.

Yes, these are our women’s football trials in England, and families from the USA, Canada and Australia are welcome to apply. We support the visa process but do not apply for you: once a place is confirmed we can provide an invitation or support letter, and you should check your country’s rules on GOV.UK. We go through passports, visas and travel on the call with David.

The Women’s Football Trial costs from £945. Any higher or tailored fees are confirmed in writing after we review the player. Once a player has been approved, we go through the full details and costs with the family before anything is confirmed.

No, a contract is never guaranteed, because professional clubs make their own selection decisions. We never promise a named club or a contract. What we do promise is a genuine trial in a professional environment, female-led welfare and honest feedback on her level, and you can read how other players got on in our success stories.
