Common questions

Who is the Women’s Football Trial for?

The Women’s Football Trial is for female players aged 11–21 with the talent and ambition to be assessed in professional environments in England. International players are very welcome to register, and for under-18s a parent or guardian is involved at every step.

What happens on the women’s football trial?

On the women’s football trial, players play competitive matches against professional clubs, take part in a testing day tailored to women’s standards and leave with a detailed individual player report with coaching notes. It runs in the Midlands and North West of England, and full training kit is provided.

Can I have an individual trial instead of the Women’s Football Trial?

Yes, individual female football trials in the UK are set up one by one for players who are ready for them. We look at your profile and videos, the teams you have played for, your eligibility, and passport and visa checks. If you meet the criteria, David has a phone call with you and your parents to make sure it is the right professional club for you.

Where do players stay on the women’s football trial, and who looks after them?

Players stay in independent schools in the Midlands and North West of England, with nutritionally balanced meals and full training kit. Welfare is female-led and available 24/7.

How much does the Women’s Football Trial cost?

The Women’s Football Trial costs from £945. Individual trials do not have a set price: we first review the player’s profile and videos, past clubs, eligibility, and passport and visa checks, and if she meets the criteria, David has a phone call with her and her parents before we confirm the details.

When are the next women’s football trial dates?

We share the next Women’s Football Trial dates once you have registered, and individual trials are arranged around you after we have assessed you. You can also check our upcoming football trials page.

Will a professional club sign me after a women’s football trial?

No, we can’t promise a contract or a place at a professional club, because clubs make their own decisions. Every player gets honest feedback and a clear idea of the next step, and you can read more on our women’s football trials page.
