Crawley Town FC
Although his first trials didn’t result in a contract, his clinical finishing and youth-level goal-scoring record soon earned him a move to Crawley Town FC, where he signed a professional contract. Jonté continued his strong form on loan, most notably at PS Kemi Kings (Finland) where he scored an impressive 11 goals in 12 appearances. His performances earned him recognition, including FA Cup Player of the Round honours during one standout spell. He has since built a career across England, Finland, Norway, and Northern Ireland while also representing Bermuda internationally. Jonté’s journey is a great example of persistence and clinical finishing paying off after the right early opportunities in the UK.

Ajdin Hrustic
Came from Melbourne for football trials in the UK at Stoke City FC, Burton Albion FC, Nottingham Forest FC, Everton FC, Derby County FC and Mansfield Town FC. He later played youth football at FC Schalke 04 and went to two World Cups.
Isaac Lee
Came from South Korea for trials at Stoke City FC, with a Manchester City FC trial also arranged. He signed at Stoke City FC, then earned his way through non-league to League Two with Shrewsbury Town FC.
Dale Eve
Arrived in England as a teenage goalkeeper with no prior specialist coaching. Within six months he was offered a two-year scholarship at Stoke City FC.
