Trial at Fleetwood Town FC
Every attacker believes they can make the difference, but only a few are given the platform to prove it in front of professional clubs. Zimbabwean talent Alex Tap seized that opportunity when he joined Premier Football UK’s 10-day professional trial event at Fleetwood Town FC Academy. Alex impressed with his direct attacking style, pace, and goal threat — most notably shining in a competitive match against Sheffield United FC. His performances in front of the coaching staff and scouts highlighted exactly why he belongs at this level. The trial gave Alex valuable high-level exposure and confirmed his ability to compete against English professional academy sides. He left the programme with increased confidence and a clear pathway forward in English football.
