Premier Football UK arranges football trials with professional clubs, residential assessment weeks and player pathways in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.
We work with players aged 7–21 for the UK and Europe, 16–23 for Asia who want honest coaching, real club environments and a clear next step — not hype.
Since 2009 we have placed players into genuine assessment settings where they are evaluated by qualified coaches and, where the product includes it, play competitive matches against professional club sides. We never promise a contract. We promise a real opportunity, proper welfare and straight feedback.

1. about premier football uk
Premier Football UK (PFUK) connects motivated players with genuine trial placements and development programmes at professional clubs across the UK, Europe and Asia.
We were built by former professional footballers and UEFA / FA qualified academy coaches from English Premier League and Football League environments. Since 2009 we have arranged real trial placements with professional clubs — not showcase camps dressed up as trials.
Players train and, depending on the programme, compete in real club environments. They are assessed by qualified coaches. On selected products they play matches against professional club academy or development sides and receive a written evaluation.
Give every player honest opportunities, excellent coaching, and proper care for welfare and development. Safety — especially for players under 18 — comes first.
Talent + the right mentality + compliance with the rules + a genuine opportunity. That is the only formula that works. We promise a little and aim to deliver a lot. We will not overhype, sell dreams or put a player forward for an opportunity we do not believe is realistic.
- Players are placed into real assessment environments, not a closed touring group that only plays itself.
- On the UK 10-Day Event the structure is competitive matches against 3–4 professional club sides, plus a scout-attended Talent ID showcase and an EPL-standard testing day.
- On an individual trial the player trains inside a professional club environment after we have assessed video and agreed the level is realistic.

Players aged 7–21 for the UK and Europe, 11–21 for our women’s programme and 16–23 for Asia.

Programme-specific ranges apply. UK and Europe pathways are typically 7–21. Under-18s always need full parental / guardian consent.
No. We work with club, academy, school and independent players. Every place is subject to a suitability assessment (usually profile + video). If the level is not realistic for the requested club or product, we will say so and recommend a better fit — or decline the placement. That honesty is the point.

Typical high-intensity blocks are around 10 days (UK / Asia) or 2 weeks (Spain). Longer season pathways exist as separate products and are confirmed in writing — they are not the same as a 2-week trial.
Language matters.
- A UK 10-Day Event is an immersive assessment week run by PFUK staff. Matches are typically against professional club academy / development / U18–U21 or equivalent sides. Midweek training is with the PFUK group unless we confirm otherwise in writing. You are not placed as a guest in a Premier League first-team session.
- An individual trial is different: after video assessment you train with signed players at one professional club (EPL–League 2 in the UK, or the confirmed Spain professional club environment). The club decides which group you join and can move you during the trial.
- We do not sell “you will start for a first team this week”.
3. booking and registration
- Register now on the website or at https://premierfootballuk.com/register-now-for-a-football-trial/, or contact us directly.
- Send player details and playing video so we can assess suitability.
- If the fit is realistic, we confirm the product, fee and (when ready) date window in writing.
- Complete the booking form, agree the Terms & Safeguarding Policy, and pay the fee / deposit as invoiced.
- After payment and locked dates, you receive confirmation. Where needed, David issues an invitation / support letter for a visitor visa.
No. The public form registers interest only. A place is reserved only when we have assessed suitability, confirmed the product in writing, you have completed any booking form, and the fee has cleared our account.
Until then: dates stay unlocked, no invitation letter is issued, and submitting the form does not reserve accommodation or a club place.
We review age, position, current level, goals, medical / welfare needs and video. We only put players forward for realistic opportunities. If we cannot help, we will say so.
We recommend it. Players 18+ can attend themselves. A parent or guardian must join if the player is under 18.
Payment instructions are issued after PFUK has confirmed the product in writing. We do not collect payment on the public registration form. UK products are usually invoiced in GBP. Spain is usually invoiced in EUR. You are responsible for bank charges — the amount received must match the invoice.
4. uk 10-day event
A fully immersive 10-day assessment programme designed to mirror professional evaluation — not a holiday camp. Typical venue: an independent school in the Midlands or North West England, with residential accommodation on site.
Residential fee: confirmed in writing for your dates.
Typically includes:
- 9 nights’ residential accommodation
- 3 meals per day
- Full training kit
- Competitive matches vs 3–4 professional clubs, with recorded footage
- Scout-attended Talent ID showcase
- EPL-standard testing day
- Written player report from UEFA-qualified staff
- 24/7 welfare supervision
- On-site physio / first-aid qualified staff
- Local match-day transport from the residential base
Prices start from £1,175. Same football programme structure without the 9 nights and full meal package. This only makes sense if the player already has a safe UK address for the week.
Unless confirmed in writing:
- International flights
- UK Standard Visitor Visa fee
- Travel / health insurance (mandatory to arrange)
- Personal spending money
- Airport pickup / drop-off
- Parent travel or parent hotel
The structure is 3–4 competitive matches against professional club academy or development sides. Named opponents and kick-off times are confirmed closer to the event, because they follow each club’s academy / development calendar. We do not guarantee a named club on a named date. If a fixture moves, another professional-club fixture is arranged.
Past events have included clubs such as: Leeds United FC, Burnley FC, Fleetwood Town FC, Blackpool FC, Lincoln City FC, Chesterfield FC, Manchester City FC, Salford City FC, Sheffield Wednesday FC and Mansfield Town FC. That is a record of past events, not a fixture list for the next window.
No. On the 10-Day Event, matches are against professional club academy, development, U18/U21 or equivalent sides. Training during the week is with the PFUK group under UEFA / FA-qualified staff. You are not placed as a daily guest in a club first-team session.
The Talent ID showcase is scout-attended. Club fixtures are attended by that club’s own coaches and recruitment staff. Additional independent scouts are invited. We do not publish a scout guest list in advance.
Dates are confirmed in writing for each booking. Public pages may show working windows; they are not venue-locked until PFUK confirms them. Contact us for the current windows rather than treating an old social post as a booking date.
5. individual uk trials
A flexible-date placement at one professional club after we have assessed your video. You train with signed players in a realistic environment. The club decides the group. Kit and a written report are part of the typical product.
Individual trials are tailored to each player, so there is no set price. We review the player’s profile and video, past clubs and eligibility, check passport and visa needs, then arrange a call with David and the parents to talk through the right trial.
Not automatically — especially for an international player who needs a bed.

We assess video first. No placement if the level is not realistic.
6. European trials
- Length: typically from 2 weeks (extensions are a separate discussion and fee)
- Fee: Prices start from €1,175. Any higher or tailored fees are confirmed in writing after we review the player.
We arrange trials across Europe with professional clubs. The Spain 2-week trial at Real Valladolid CF is one example.

About 5 professional sessions plus gym, with signed academy / reserve players, under the club’s own coaches. This is not a camp or tour group. The club decides the exact group for age and level and can move the player during the trial.
City-centre player residence. 24/7 welfare. Shared rooms, maximum 2–3. Single room extra if available. We do not publish the street address until the place is reserved. Address and pickup plan are sent after flights are locked.
The booked programme ends after the agreed trial period. One club only. There is no automatic second trial included. An extension or another club is a separate discussion and fee. The player still receives the written report.
Yes, as a separate product confirmed in writing. A short residential trial is an entry and assessment block. It is not a full-season contract, licence package or match-count promise. Do not assume season inclusions apply to a short trial booking.
7. asia
A Bangkok-based immersive week connecting players with professional environments in Thailand. Typical inclusions advertised on the programme page:
- Competitive matches against professional Thai League clubs

- Meals and transport
- Safe residential accommodation
- 24/7 welfare and English-speaking support on the ground
Prices start from $1,175. Any higher or tailored fees are confirmed in writing after we review the player. Confirm in writing before paying. Flights, visas and insurance are not included unless stated.
8. women’s programme
Yes. We arrange women’s individual trials for ages 11–21. Fees start from £945. Any higher or tailored fees are confirmed in writing after we review the player.
Same rules apply: suitability assessment, no contract guarantee, parental consent if under 18, safeguarding and codes of conduct.

They can be agreed in writing for specific bookings. Unless an invoice says otherwise, the fee is due in full to reserve the place.
No. Payment instructions come after written confirmation of the product.
10. visas and travel
We support the process. We do not run it for you.
For players who need a UK Standard Visitor Visa or a short-stay / Schengen visa for Spain:
After the booking form, payment and locked dates, David (Managing Director) can issue an invitation / support letter on company letterhead. It typically states:
- player name
- event name, venue and dates
- that accommodation and the programme are provided by Premier Football UK
- that this is unpaid assessment / training (not employment)
- the expectation that the player returns home
- Apply for the visa
- Attend the appointment
- Pay the visa fee or flights
- Guarantee the Home Office / consulate decision
- Sponsor a work visa or International Sportsperson visa
A work / sportsperson visa exists only if a club later signs the player. A trial is not that route. A trial on a Standard Visitor Visa is permitted when it is unpaid and not staged in front of a paying crowd.
No. See cancellations. A refused visa does not create a cash refund. Credit towards a later PFUK programme may apply if you cancel before the trial date, in line with the Terms.
No. Requirements depend on nationality. Families should check official government sources and, if needed, a qualified adviser.
11. safeguarding and welfare
It is the highest priority — especially for under-18s. Our policy aligns with the Children Act 1989 & 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, The FA Safeguarding Children Policy, NSPCC standards and UK GDPR.

A senior trained staff member is designated for every event. Full contact details are provided at booking.
- Recommended ratio 1 adult : 8–10 players
- 24/7 supervision on residential programmes
- Strict no 1:1 unsupervised contact rules
- Separate gender / age-appropriate accommodation where applicable
Safer recruitment: Enhanced DBS checks (or local equivalent), references, and mandatory annual safeguarding training. Everyone signs a Code of Conduct. Serious breaches mean immediate removal without refund.
Parents / guardians can attend or observe subject to coach agreement and designated areas. They cannot walk onto training pitches or into residential rooms uninvited.
Zero tolerance for poor behaviour, bullying, abuse, violence, alcohol / drugs breaches, or anything that puts the player or others at risk. Serious breach = programme ends immediately, no refund, travel home at the family’s cost.
12. parents, under-18s, and consent
No. The parent / guardian must complete the registration and consent forms. Under-18s cannot take part without signed parental / guardian consent and completed medical forms.
Yes — welfare and emergency contacts are collected before arrival. In an emergency we contact the parent / emergency contact as soon as practical. Day-to-day updates are handled by the event welfare lead; we do not run a live 24/7 parent broadcast from every session.
Parent hotel and parent travel are not included. Some families stay nearby independently. That is separate from the player residence and must not interfere with programme rules.
13. medical, insurance, and emergencies
Qualified first aiders are on site at all times. UK 10-Day includes on-site physio / first-aid qualified staff. Spain 2-week includes club medical / physio support during the programme. Pre-event medical and consent forms are mandatory.
Tell us in full before arrival. Bring medication clearly labelled. If information is withheld and that affects safety or delivery, we may end the place with no refund.
Yes, for international programmes: comprehensive travel and health insurance that covers training and matches. PFUK is not liable for visa issues, flight disruption or medical costs except where the law does not allow exclusion (including death or personal injury caused by our negligence). We hold public liability insurance appropriate to our activities.
Staff give first aid and act in the player’s best interests, including calling emergency services. Parents are contacted as soon as practical. Consent for emergency treatment if parents are unreachable is collected on the medical form.
14. what to pack
A full kit list is issued before each event. Typical personal items:

PFUK typically supplies the event training kit on residential products that include kit. Do not assume match boots, shin pads or personal recovery tools are provided.
15. outcome and feedback
No. A trial is an assessment and coaching opportunity. It is not a guaranteed contract, first-team place, named-club move, visa or job.
Paying a fee does not buy better treatment than other players at a professional club. Professional clubs make their own selection decisions. We pass on feedback honestly. We are not the club.
Honest verbal feedback where appropriate and, where the product includes it, a detailed written evaluation report. Many players improve and return stronger. The week still has value as elite-level exposure, testing data and footage (on products that include recorded matches).
Yes — some players have received further club trials and a smaller number have signed professionally. That is not typical for every player and is never promised. Public success stories live on premierfootballuk.com/football-trial-success-stories. We will not invent a signing story to close a booking.
An assessment from coaching staff for that period — typically technical, tactical, physical and attitude notes. It is not a contract offer. A redacted sample can be sent before payment if you ask in writing. We do not publish blank public samples as a default.
16. cancellations and changes
This matches our public Terms:
- If PFUK cancels because we cannot host the player → full refund or a rearranged date.
- If you cancel before the trial date → fees already received are applied as credit towards a later PFUK trial / programme.
- Once the fee has been received it is otherwise non-refundable, including visa refusal, flight changes or illness (unless we agree otherwise in writing).
- After the player has arrived and started, the fee is not refundable.
- Serious conduct breach → programme ends immediately, no refund.
- Credit is not a cash withdrawal. It is used against a later PFUK programme agreed in writing.
Yes, where needed for welfare, weather, club calendars or venue availability. If a change means we cannot deliver the core of the booked product, the cancellation rule above applies.
17. photos, data, and privacy
We may take photos, video and testing data for coaching, the player report, safeguarding and — unless you opt out in writing — legitimate promotion of PFUK programmes. Match footage on a 10-Day Event is part of that product where advertised. Under-18 promotional use requires the consent framework in our Privacy Policy; opt-out is available.
Only what we need to deliver the service, communicate, provide feedback, meet safeguarding duties and (with consent) send updates. We comply with UK GDPR. We do not sell player lists. Children’s data is processed with verifiable parental consent.
