Asia Football Trials in Thailand

Asia football trials are trials with professional Thai League clubs in Thailand, for players aged 16–23 who are serious about their football. There are two routes: an individual trial with a Thai League 1 or 2 club, arranged by our Bangkok-based team, or our 10-day trial programme with matches against professional Thai League clubs. International players are very welcome, and you can see current dates on our upcoming football trials page.

Football trials in Thailand start with a review, so we never arrange one just because it is requested. After you register, our Bangkok team looks at the player’s profile and videos, past clubs, eligibility, and passport and visa requirements for Thailand, and checks that they meet the criteria. If they do, David has a phone call with the player and parents to agree the right professional club and the right time. On an individual trial, players train with signed players at a Thai League 1 or 2 club and receive a full scouting report.

The 10-day programme gives players ten days of competitive matches, testing and honest feedback on their level in Thailand. Players play matches against professional Thai League clubs, including a scout-attended fixture, take part in a dedicated performance testing day and leave with a detailed individual player report. Full training kit, meals, transport and safe residential accommodation are included, with 24/7 welfare supervision and English-speaking support on the ground.

Yes, our football trials in Thailand are open to international players from any country, subject to the usual profile review. All trials take place in Thailand with Thai League clubs. Premier Football UK is a registered company in Thailand, our English- and Thai-speaking staff have work permits, professional playing experience and AFC coaching qualifications, and we hold public liability insurance in Thailand.

Yes. In the USA, Canada and Australia these are often called soccer trials, and families from those countries are welcome to apply. Our Bangkok team handles everything on the ground in English, so families always have someone local to speak to. We go through passports, visas and travel with you on the call with David.

Prices start from $1,175. Any higher or tailored fees are confirmed in writing after we review the player. Once a player has been approved, we go through the full details and costs with the family before anything is confirmed.

It depends on the player’s passport, so we check visa requirements for Thailand as part of every player’s review. We support the process but do not apply for a visa on your behalf. Once a place is confirmed, we can provide an invitation or support letter, and families should check the latest Thai entry rules for their nationality with the Thai embassy or official government sources before booking travel.

Yes, players under 18 can be considered, and a parent or guardian is involved at every step. A parent or guardian completes the registration, joins the phone call with David and agrees travel, accommodation and supervision before anything is confirmed. Signing rules for younger players depend on age and nationality, so we explain what applies to your child after the profile review.

No, a contract is never guaranteed, because professional clubs make their own selection decisions. We never promise a named club or a contract. What we do promise is a genuine trial in a professional club environment, honest feedback on the player’s level and clear next steps, and you can read how other players got on in our success stories.
